Message us before you order, not after

Sizing is the one thing worth asking about first. Tell us your usual size in a brand you already wear and we will tell you which of ours matches it. Two minutes now beats a return later, and it beats guessing between two sizes when the measurements differ by colour.

What to message us about

• Sizing. Measurements vary between colourways. Black runs shorter in the body than Cream and Heather Grey. Ask and we will point you to the right one.
• Your order. Send the order number and we will tell you where it is.
• A problem with your parcel. Message the same day it arrives, with the order number and a photo.
• Colour and fabric. Screens lie about colour. Ask and we will describe what you are actually getting.

How ordering works

Everything is cash on delivery and no card details are taken. In Cairo and Giza you pay nothing when you place the order, and the courier collects the full amount, the order plus delivery, when the parcel reaches you. Every other governorate pays a 50% deposit on the order value, agreed on the call we make to confirm the order, with the balance paid to the courier.

Keep the phone number on your order reachable. Couriers call before they arrive, and an unanswered call is the most common reason a delivery fails.

What to put in your first message

We can answer almost anything in one reply if the first message carries the right details. For a sizing question, send the brand and size of a top you already wear, and say whether you want it closer to the body or easier through the shoulder. For anything about an existing order, send the order number and the phone number you used, because those are what we search on. If something arrived wrong or damaged, send a photo taken in daylight alongside the order number, on the day the parcel reached you.

If you are writing about a colour, name it. Black, Cream, Heather Grey and Crimson are cut to different measurements, so a question about length has a different answer depending on which one you mean.

The three sizing questions we answer most

Which size am I?

The fastest route is not your chest measurement. It is a top you already own that fits the way you want it to. Lay it flat, smooth the wrinkles out, and measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other. Send us that number and the colour you are looking at, and we will tell you which of our four sizes matches it. Our width column is measured the same way, flat and underarm to underarm, so the two numbers compare directly with no arithmetic.

Does the colour really change the size?

Yes, and it is not a typo on the size guide. At every size, Black is 4cm shorter in the body than Cream and Heather Grey, and Crimson sits 2cm shorter than those two. In size L that means a 70cm body length in Black, 74cm in Cream and Heather Grey, and 72cm in Crimson. Width moves too: Black and Crimson measure 1cm wider than Cream and Heather Grey at the same size. If you are buying two colours at once, this is the single most useful thing to ask us about, because the same letter on the label will not give you the same garment.

I am between two sizes

Tell us what you want the piece to do. Worn under a jacket or tucked in, the smaller size keeps a cleaner line and stops fabric gathering at the waist. Worn open and out, the larger size gives an easier shoulder and a longer body, which is what most people want in summer. There is no universally correct answer, which is exactly why it is worth a message rather than a guess.

Changing or cancelling an order

Every order gets a confirmation call before it is dispatched. That call is the moment to change a size, swap a colour, correct an address or cancel altogether, and it costs nothing to do any of them. Message us before that call if you already know something is wrong, so the change is on the order when we ring you rather than something we have to unpick afterwards.

Keep the number on the order reachable. Couriers call before they arrive, and an unanswered call is the most common reason a delivery fails.

Things we cannot help with

• Card payments. Everything is cash on delivery. We do not take card details on the site, by message, or on the confirmation call, and nobody from Rflx will ever ask you for them.
• Orders outside Egypt. We dispatch from Cairo to all 27 governorates and nowhere else at the moment.
• Sizes outside M to 2XL. Four sizes is the whole range today. If your measurement sits outside it, we would rather tell you than sell you something that will not fit.
• Visiting a shop. There is not one. Rflx is online only, which is a deliberate choice about where the money goes.

Asked before ordering

What is the fabric?

95% cotton with 5% Lycra, at 240 GSM. The cotton is what makes it breathable and what lets it take a press. The Lycra is what lets the collar and the cuffs return to shape instead of staying stretched after a day of wear.

Is it see-through?

240 GSM is a mid-weight for a knit, and it is heavy enough that the surface stays opaque rather than showing what is underneath. That is the practical reason for the weight, more than any argument about warmth.

What does the collar do when I do not want it buttoned?

It is a ribbed band collar with a two-button placket, so it stands on its own without a tie holding it up. Open, it stays open and keeps its shape. Closed, it reads closer to a shirt. That is the whole point of the piece.

Do you ship to my governorate?

All 27. Rates are set by region and shown before you confirm, on the shipping and delivery page.

Can I ask before I buy anything at all?

Yes. We would rather answer a question from someone who ends up buying nothing than take an order that comes straight back. If you want to read first, the size guide has every measurement, and The Code covers fit, fabric and dress codes in more depth than a message can.

Ask about the colour before you pick one

The four colourways are not one shade under four names, and each behaves differently in daily use. Black is the shortest in the body and slightly the widest through the chest, the easiest to put against any trouser, and the least likely to show creasing by the end of the day. Cream is the longest piece in the range, 4cm longer than Black at every size, with a white ribbed collar and cuffs that draw a clear edge at the neck. Heather Grey runs to the same length as Cream, with a lilac ribbed trim showing at the collar and cuffs, and it reads quieter than Black without going pale. Crimson sits between the two on length, and it is the only colour in the range that works as the anchor of an outfit rather than the background to one.

If you are asking about one colour only, ask about its length. The gap between 68cm and 78cm, the shortest Black and the longest Cream, is a difference you actually feel when the piece is worn out rather than tucked.
