A release calendar is a manufacturing decision before it is a style one. Promise new stock every month and you have to book fabric and cutting slots months ahead. That means committing to the next four pieces before you know whether the last one was any good.

From then on the calendar drives the product. The date arrives, so something has to ship, so a design that was almost right ships anyway. Nobody sets out to do that. It is simply what a fixed schedule does to a small brand.

Rflx runs the other way round. A piece is finished when it is finished, and this page waits for it. The visible cost is a thin collection page. We would rather carry that cost than fill the page with garments that exist because a month ended.

It moves the decision away from the garment. When something is new for two weeks, the question in your head becomes whether you will miss it. That is a question about the calendar, not about your wardrobe, and it is the reason so many drawers hold clothes nobody chose on purpose.

Slow releases put the decision back where it belongs. When a piece sits on the site for months, urgency stops working and the real questions return.

Does the collar work with the trousers you already wear? Does the length sit right untucked? Will you reach for it on a Tuesday, or only on the day you bought it?

Those questions survive a night's sleep. A countdown does not.

Five gates. All five, or it does not go live.

• It has to carry both halves of a day. Clean enough for a desk at ten in the morning, comfortable enough at eight in the evening. A garment that only works for one of those is asking you to own two.
• Every size stocked on day one. M to 2XL, in every colourway, at launch. A size that turns up three weeks later was never planned properly.
• Measured flat, per colour. Real width and length figures in centimetres for each colourway, not one generic chart applied across the whole range.
• Described in verifiable facts only. If a claim cannot be stated in writing, it stays off the site. No invented weights, no borrowed fibre percentages, no adjectives standing in for numbers.
• Quiet on the outside. One small embroidered monogram, no chest print, no slogan. The garment should not introduce itself before you do.

The opening piece is the Reflection Polo, a short-sleeve knit shirt with a ribbed band collar, and the reasoning behind it is short. For most of the Egyptian working year, the default office garment is a polo. It is the compromise almost everyone reaches for when a shirt is too much and a plain tee is too little.

Polos have one weak point, and it is the fold-down collar. It needs structure to stand, and when it stops standing the whole outfit reads as an off day. A band collar has nothing to collapse. Same ease, none of the risk, which makes the first Rflx release a replacement for something you already own rather than an addition to it.

Colour came before pattern, too. Four colourways of a single silhouette teaches more than four silhouettes in one colour, because it shows you what changes when only the colour changes. Black, Cream, Heather Grey and Crimson each behave differently against the same charcoal trousers.

Newest first, always. Anything visible here is in stock in every size, because unavailable sizes are hidden rather than left on show to disappoint you at checkout. The dots on each card are the real colourways, and clicking one opens that colour directly.

Prices are in Egyptian pounds and include nothing hidden. Delivery is added at checkout by region and shown before you confirm.

The published order is shirts, then classic trousers, then shoes and eyewear. That order is not a secret and it has not changed since the brand started.

What you will not get from us is a date. A date we cannot hold is worse than no date at all, and every brand that has ever posted a launch countdown and then quietly moved it knows exactly why. When the next piece is finished, it appears here. Not before.

Two minutes of preparation beats a refused parcel. Work out your size once, properly, against the flat measurements in centimetres, and note it down. Sizing here is stated per colour rather than per range, so the number you need is specific and worth keeping.

Then read what the courier collects at the door. Payment is cash on delivery, and delivery is charged by region: 85 EGP in Greater Cairo, 100 EGP across Lower Egypt, 150 EGP in Upper Egypt. In Cairo and Giza the whole amount changes hands on your doorstep; every other governorate pays a 50% deposit on the confirmation call and the balance to the courier. Knowing that number in advance is the difference between a smooth handover and an awkward one.
